Yarify has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This applies to every account, profile, message, photo and interaction on the platform. Any account found engaging in, sharing, requesting or promoting CSAE or CSAM is permanently banned.
Yarify is intended only for users aged 18 and above. We collect date of birth during onboarding, and anyone who is under 18 is refused an account. This is enforced on our servers, not just in the app. Yarify's content rating on Google Play is 18+, and Yarify's target audience is set to adults only, with minors restricted from the listing.
Report and Block are available on every profile and inside every chat, one tap away. You can report a user or a conversation at any time.
Reports reach Yarify's moderation team, who review them, remove content that violates our policies, and suspend or permanently ban accounts where warranted. As an additional layer, messages sent on Yarify are checked against a banned-keyword list at the time they are sent.
Yarify offers optional photo verification, where a user takes a selfie to help confirm that they are who their profile says they are.
Yarify reports child sexual abuse and exploitation to the relevant national and regional authorities and cooperates with law enforcement investigations.
We review these child safety standards periodically and update them as our policies and features evolve.
